Brake Repair

Your brakes use a combination of pressure and force to bring your car to a stop. Pressurized brake fluid forces the calipers against the rotors. When this happens, the brake pads inside the calipers produce friction against the smooth rotor surfaces. The friction produced by this stops your car. Brake components slowly wear out and need replacement, and they can also become damaged.

Pulling to one side, screeching noises, grinding noises, and reduced braking speed are all signs of something wrong. Our GMC-trained technicians will investigate and find and fix the problem. From brake pad replacement to rotor resurfacing, we can fix any brake problem.

Spark Plug Replacement

Spark plugs have a vital role in your engine, as they provide the ignition source for the fuel-air mixture in the engine cylinders. Air and fuel mix in the intake manifold, and once they’ve mixed in a precise ratio, the mixture is drawn into the engine cylinders. The piston rises at speed and compresses the mixture, which is then ignited by the spark plug.

The plugs will wear out due to age. They can also be damaged by engine problems, for example, a fuel-rich engine. This situation occurs when your engine’s air intake is restricted by a blocked air filter. The lack of air turns the engine fuel-rich. The spark plugs won’t spark correctly in this atmosphere, which reduces engine efficiency and increases fuel consumption. We can easily check your plugs and replace any worn or damaged ones.

Transmission Service

The transmission’s job is to harness the energy produced by your engine and focus it to provide the power to move your wheels. After your engine, the transmission is the second most complex part of your GMC. It contains hundreds of fast-moving components, many of which depend on friction to work effectively, and these components generate large amounts of heat.

In a transmission service, we drain the old transmission fluid and check to ensure that there are no leaks in the transmission. We examine the transmission pan gasket and replace it if necessary. Our technicians examine all the transmission components for any signs of wear or damage. Once these tasks are complete, we refill your transmission and clean the exterior to prevent dirt or debris from finding its way into the transmission.
